These 5 trends, however, are not easy-to-implement quick wins. All of them require a well-thought approach.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-987d522 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"987d522\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"aux-parallax-section elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-deacbca\" data-id=\"deacbca\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-762c1ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"762c1ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>I see the following shifts happening:<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"aux-parallax-section elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-6e30074\" data-id=\"6e30074\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-918a889 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"918a889\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hrwheelworks.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Inspirational-Quote-Notification-Reminder-Social-Media-Post-2-280x180.png\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-image-1604\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d98ee6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d98ee6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li><em>From<\/em>\u00a01 source of input, the line-manager, on the employee\u2019s potential, aspirations, leadership skills etc,\u00a0<em>towards<\/em>\u00a0gathering\u00a0<strong>the input of various sources<\/strong>. As a consequence, you significantly reduce bias in your Talent Review discussions. Examples of potential sources: the employee, a client, a mentor, \u2026<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><em>From<\/em>\u00a0Talent Review meetings spending most of the time determining the potential, risk of leaving, readiness for a next step, \u2026 for each employee in scope\u00a0<em>to<\/em>\u00a0Talent Review meetings spending the majority of their time reflecting on development or career\u00a0actions. The use of\u00a0<strong>data analytics and<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>evidence-based questionnaires<\/strong>, offers us the correct data straight away at the beginning of the Talent Review Meeting, which allows you to shift the discussion towards what matters the most: what actions do we need to discuss with this employee? Eager to learn more? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrwheelworks.be\/en\/the-talent-review-fridays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.hrwheelworks.be\/en\/the-talent-review-fridays\/\">Register today for the Talent Review Mondays, starting in September 2021<\/a>. (in Dutch)<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><em>From<\/em>\u00a0exclusive focus on top management positions\u00a0<em>to<\/em>\u00a0a broader focus on\u00a0<strong>talent target groups or talent pools.\u00a0<\/strong>As a strategic business process, we should discuss those roles and employees at that moment in time of strategic importance for the organization. Suppose the organization would like to increase customer satisfaction of VIP clients. In that case we should focus the Talent Review discussion on those employees and managers who work with these VIP clients.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><em>From<\/em>\u00a0\u2018black box\u2019\u00a0<em>to<\/em>\u00a0<strong>transparency<\/strong>\u00a0on the outcome of Talent Review discussions. As we expect people to steer their career and development, we should explain how the Talent Review discussions could support their career evolution. If you want to learn on this topic, I recommend reading the research by Prof. Nicky Dries on \u2018Transparency in Talent Management\u2019.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li><em>From<\/em>\u00a0Talent Review owned by HR\u00a0<em>to<\/em>\u00a0a\u00a0<strong>business strategic process<\/strong>, owned by the business leaders. Only if the \u2018why of the Talent &amp; Organizational Review\u2019 is clearly communicated by the executive committee, leaders will be more motivated to see the WIIFM.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e5c7eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9e5c7eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I challenge you to\u00a0evaluate your organization.
